Big greetings for visiting our site!
It is good that you are relocating to another city/state for whatsoever region. It is quite understandable that you will be concerned about the safety of your goods, especially the fragile items like painting. If the paintings are framed in a glass, then it is quite important to ensure that they do not break. Similarly, if it is canvas frame, then it is vital to ensure that the painting does not get torn. Moving the paintings must be undertaken in a very well planned and careful manner. For this purpose, you can consider the following tips:
In case of a glass frame, use a good quality masking tape. Make an 'X' sign in front of the frame so that if in case the glass get broken, the pieces will remain in their place and the painting will not get damaged.
For the canvas frame, use a bubble wrap to wrap the frame in a proper manner. The edges of the frame must be protected with the tape so that they do not get loose.
When the paintings are packed adequately, then keep them in proper sized moving boxes. The box must be moved carefully and sealed with the tape.
So, I certainly believe that these steps or tips will help you out to pack and move your delicate paintings in a hassle free manner.
Happy Shifting!!
